Massage Parlors Reading Pa Arested Fo Rprostitution
Warren police conducted searches at three locations Thursday dark resulting in six people being arrested on charges related to solicitation and prostitution.
Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer said Chinese Body Works at 32784 Ryan Route near 14 Mile Road and Green Massage Center at 14154 12 Mile Road near Bunert Road were part of the sting operation as well as a Sterling Heights home at 33544 Richard O Bulldoze, which is nearly xiv Mile Road and Ryan Road.
"Six Asian females were arrested who were from diverse locations including Ohio, New York, Madison Heights and Sterling Heights past way of China," said Dwyer.
Some of the identified women were investigated past other agencies in Michigan and other states for similar offenses. "Prostitution is not a victimless criminal offence," said Dwyer. "Information technology is a huge asset in these types of investigations because we can look dorsum into the paper trail of the licenses for these businesses and how they are appropriating the funds and going through processes of getting these legitimate businesses which tin lead to a discovery of illicit acts," said Bankowski.
Detectives submitted their findings to the Macomb County Prosecutor'south Function for review. Afterward conducting their own inquiry, prosecutors charged Li; Yuhong Chen, 46; Aihua Zhao, 54; Lili Liu, 32; Dongmei Al, 49; Xianping Yue, 46; with thirteen felonies and 12 misdemeanor offenses including keeping identify for purpose of prostitution; accepting earnings of a prostitute; prostitution, aiding & abetting prostitution; use of computer to commit crime with penalties ranging from twenty years to 90 days.
The six women were arraigned Fri afternoon in Warren 37th District Court in forepart of Approximate Michael Chupa.
